Ha, gotcha! Jessie Jones is not a real person. She is entirely the work of Maria’s imagination. You see, as well as teach dance, play tennis, ice skate, do aerobics, cook, clean and hang out with her pop-star friends, Maria occasionally spends time writing.

And sometimes she writes too much.

Which means she has more books than any one publisher can handle.

Enter Jessie Jones. It’s fun having a pseudonym. It means you can legitimately have a split personality without being sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
